Mary Agnes Hammett
Hickey family in St Joseph Cemetery, Baton Rouge, LA
Found 3 children of Philip and Ann M Hickey; Frances, Philip, and Aurore. On the stone with the 3 names, it is spelled, Hicky, and was entered as such.

Col Philip Hickey
I was unable to find the grave of Col Philip Hickey today.

Before going to the cemetery, I checked for Philip Hickey's grave location in the book "St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Baton Rouge, LA." Philip Hickey is not listed, which means the authors didn't find a headstone for him. I looked for it anyway, in the section where Ann Mather Hickey is buried. I couldn't find either one of them. I will recheck the book (which is in the reference section of the public library) and see if I can find out any more information on his grave location.

RE: Ira Link Councill / Oak Grove
You are so very welcome! This is why I do this service for people: to connect them with ancestors and loved ones that they would otherwise not be able to interact with. I'm very glad that I was able to help out with your research!

If you would like the full, high-resolution copy of Ira's inscription as well as the family headstone, just let me know and I can email them to you. (The pictures uploaded on here are smaller than what I took them as, so they would upload faster/easier.)
