I have been researching family genealogy for about 15 years, primarily Skelton and Yearton surnames. I have always had a love of old cemeteries and enjoy walking them. Findagrave has provided an outlet for me to share my visits with others.|
Transferring memorials is a pleasure - to know that they have been sent 'home'.

I noticed you have added several Westvig grave sites. Have you ever seen the graves of Al (1920-2000) and his wife Alice Samantha Ellis (1924-2005)? You have their son Wayne.

Hi, not quite sure how to edit this graveside. Marilyn was the aunt for whom I was named. Her parents were Della Faber Hardt and father was Peter A. Hardt. Marilyn's sibling were my father, Richard P. Hardt 10/25/2015-10/09/1953 and is buried in Blackberry Cemetery, Elburn, IL, Evelyn Hardt Barrett born 04/02/1920 living in Batavia, and Robert Hardt born 19/03/1924 and living in Elgin. Richard (my dad) was married to Clara Olson Hardt Stonecipher and they had 3 children, me - Marilyn M. Hardt Walters Shanholtzer born 04/03/1940, William L. Hardt born 10/11/1942, and Marlene A. Hardt Born 09/24/1944. Clara was born 07/17/1916 and passed away 10/28/2014 and is also buried at Blackberry Cemetery, Elburn, IL. Contact me at email@example.com Thanks

Thank You for the transfer

Their original map consisted of five oblong boxes with blocks 1-8 and not a chart of the new addition.
There's also a book of the grave stones and chart at the city hall and the public library in Whitehall.
There are about 30 books at the Osseo Public Library that my sister and I have done over the past years.
Glad to be of help.

Hi, First of all thank you for recording and taking a photo of Katharina and Nicholas Leonard's gravemarker. They are my great great grandparents. No one knew where Katharina was buried or for that matter exactly when she died. Nicholas though in reality is buried with his second wife, Mary at St. Catherine's Cemetery which I believe is in Genoa, DeKalb County. I visited the gravesite in the 80's while I was at corps school in the Navy, that info was also verified by Nicholas's grandson.
There is a page on findagrave for Nicholas with the information for him.
Two questions though. Are there any Meyer gravemarkers in the same area as Katharina's marker, and anyway I can have her page transferred to me, unless you are related. If you are related how do you relate to her? Thank you again, capturing the photo of the gravemarker have answered questions that her grandson could not even answer.
I have made the corrections and thank you for catching the error
