RE: Carmichaels
Hey! All I knew about that cemetery was the transcription available online. I put the cemetery in and made a request but someone told me it was a gated area. I asked one of the organizers of the Carmichael reunion on email who to contact and they told me but I've been kind of busy and never talked to them! So thanks for the picture.

I just realized I had ended up with Grandpa's copy of "The Scottish Highlander Carmichaels of the Carolinas" and grandma had made some notes. I kind of had a scavenger hunt this summer trying to figure out what happened to all of Daniel Washington Carmichael's kids. :)

I'm still stuck on one:
D129. Carmichael, Daniel Baker, b. 1876, d 1930, m 1894 Georgia Luke, m 1904 Annie------, resided (Dillon, S.C. to abt. 1898) Georgia and Arkansas, 4 children--D1291. Luther (1st wife), r Georgia, no record; three children by 2nd wife, resided Arkansas, no record.

(Was married to an Annie Brown 2nd (1911) - I think their kids were Lillian, Robert, and Raymond.

On 1918 Draft Registration card, he's working at Pratt Engineering in Picron, Arkansas

According to what I've seen, REALLY born January 8, 1873. He died about Feb 22, 1930 in Pulaski County, Arkansas. (I think that's Little Rock).

Pretty much stuck, though. Frustrating!

Gilbert Turner Dunklin, Jr.
Thank you for your effort in trying to find Gilbert Dunklin's son's tombstone. It does seem strange that he is not on the family marker if he is in the same area but that is what my information says. Thank you for looking, I appreciate it.
