Bio and Links
Bio Photo Began working on the family line in 1973 and the wife's line in 1976, doing things the old-fashioned way--Visiting County Courthouses, Trolling Spooky Graveyards, writing countless letters, and making phone calls to strangers. I have gotten many a helpful boost from others to keep the project going, and must say that I've found many helpful people here on Find-A-Grave. The Internet has made searching a lot easier, I wish we had that back in the day. I have connected with others in my family lines because of Find-A-Grave. As of now, I am my family's only Historical Gatekeeper.
To those of you who have suffered loss in your lives, this is the place to be to honor your departed loved ones, as I can well attest to. My Wives, My Parents, one of my Children, and most of my Relatives are gone now. This site offers unique ways to honor and memorialize those who were near and dear to us, while also providing a virtual visit to their final resting place. For those interested in their Family History, the links to Parents, Siblings, Children, and other Family are the best to be found anywhere.
To the right are virtual cemeteries, as this is for our children, containing our ancestors (Paternal Line), and both my late wives' ancestors (Maternal Line), Siblings of all lines (Extended Siblings), Step-Family & In-Law Families (Related Other Families), Ancestor's Sibling's Spouses (Sibling Spouses), and descended family members of all lines, including spouses (Extended Relatives).
Also there is a place for those many friends and others I've known (Those From The Past), plus several other virtual cemeteries containing various interests of mine.

Clara May Boyer Smith

I saw that you left a flower just yesterday for my great-grandmother Clara May Boyer Smith. I am working on the family history. Are you a relative? Might we exchange family history info? I am from the "long lost" branch of the Boyer-Harvey family.

Yes, a beautiful baby girl with my red hair :) 6 lbs. 14 oz. and this grandma coached her daughter through the labor and cut the cord. It was great !! They are both doing good. We've waited a very long time for this baby :) She's so beautiful !!

RE: Engh at Metropolis Memorial
You're very welcome! Glad I could help.

I have posted photos on their memorials along with Jane's parents and brother.

I've been "mowing the rows" at Metropolis Memorial Gardens and am slowly getting the photos posted.

Thanks for your prompt response.

Marshalls in Nelson Co., KY
Thanks so much for your help and sorry about misleading regarding the last century :D
email is great. I will be happy to share and also I am planning on visiting the Ct. House and library some day next week before heading back home. Hopefully, I can get an exact location on where the properties were and any other info they might have, that you may not.
I am thinking they were Catholic because they came from MD and it seems like a very rich Catholic community, which is excellent for records. What do you think?
Look forward to hearing from you.

John and Deborah Marshall are one set of greats and William and Jane Bruce Marshall are the other set buried in that cemetery (or one nearby?) Wills are located in the courthouse there.
Thanks! Joyce N

Hi Chuck-X.
Are there old headstones from the last century? I am headed up that direction for Christmas and will stop in if there are.

Is there an index or cemetery book which shows interments do you know?

Joyce Newton...descendent of the Marshall clan.
