Began working on the family line in 1973 and the wife's line in 1976, doing things the old-fashioned way--Visiting County Courthouses, Trolling Spooky Graveyards, writing countless letters, and making phone calls to strangers. I have gotten many a helpful boost from others to keep the project going, and must say that I've found many helpful people here on Find-A-Grave. The Internet has made searching a lot easier, I wish we had that back in the day. I have connected with others in my family lines because of Find-A-Grave. As of now, I am my family's only Gatekeeper.|
To the right are virtual cemeteries, as this is for our children, containing our ancestors (Paternal Line), and both my late wives' ancestors (Maternal Line), Siblings of all lines (Extended Siblings), other family members of all lines, including spouses (Extended Relatives), and Step-Families. Also there is a place for those friends and others I've known from the Past.

Thank you for the information. I will work on it. I took the summer off so now I have to get back in the grove. I told myself in the beginning that I would do my best on this line because, frankly, no one else had done so starting from the top. It thrilled me to connect this. lol

Chuck, I went thru every search engine I know and did not find any of them that you listed for me. But...It was usual for people to be buried where any of their babies were and I bet Adelia and Charles Sylvestor are there, maybe without a stone. You should go ahead and list them with or without a cemetery and see if you get anyone who thinks they have them in their family.
Wish I could have done more. I am going to add all of them on my tree and I thank you very much for them.

No problems. I am glad to help out. I found another York yesterday and will try to have it posted this week. I am not sure of her name, but will let you know when it is posted.

I'm so sorry about your wife and baby. No, we sure never do forget them. My daughter died on July 4, so today is a particulary hard day for me. But I know where she is and I know that I'll be with her someday. Just like you know where your wife and baby are. Take care, my friend.
