Sarah Jane Miller Clearwater
Hi Lee, It looks like you are a descendant of the Clearwaters. Sarah Jane was my first cousin twice removed, would like to discuss the family a bit with you when you have time.

RE: Mother (Blanch Tush Clearwater)
Okay,

Talked to another neighbor. She said that Albert was Blanch's stepfather. She did not know the name of Sarah's first husband. Is it possible that Tush was Blanch's birth father's last name?

Just a thought. Thought I'd pass it along.

Also, this same neigbhor said that Sarah Clearwater was diabetic.

RE: Mother (Blanch Tush Clearwater)
I live in the Noland area, but I'm not a native from this area.

I called a a couple of neighbors that have lived in this area all their life to see if they remembered your grandparent's (Sarah & Albert) or your mother (Blanch).

According to my neighbors, the Clearwater's lived near the New Bethel community which is off 166 South (same road as Chesser Cemetery just further down toward Old Davidsonville State Park). The house they lived in has since been torn down.

Your grandfather, Albert, attended New Bethel Baptist Church. He was a handiman, also, built fences, mowed yards, & cut timber.

They remember your mother as never being married and without children. No more information beyond that. If I come upon anything else, I'll be sure and pass along the information.

Susie
