Back in the late 80's I became interested in my family's genealogy and made a lot of progress documenting it. But when my kids came along, genealogy took a back seat to little league and Cub Scouts... Now that they're in high school I'm picking up where I left off and am happy to see all the online resources that weren't available back then! Find-A-Grave is awesome! I'm thrilled every time I find another ancestor's memorial that someone took the time to post and am happy to "pay it forward" by helping others with photo requests.
Aside from graving, I like to hike, backpack, canoe and geocache. I am also an amateur novelist so look for me at a booksigning some day! | |

having Benjamin Hewitt's grave is also very helpful since she needs dates for both the husband and wife. I looked on find a grave and the photo wasn't downloaded yet. Too bad his wife wasn't there since she is going through her line to her father. Would have been easier if she had a monument with dates. Her memorial is on find a grave but no grave picture which isn't usual. Thanks for trying to help her and her husband's information will be helpful.

Danny, I did go ahead and create Zion Chapel Baptist Number 2 on Coley Road. There existed already 3 Zion Chapel Baptist cemeteries in Columbia so I sinned and gave it that type name. Through other contributors I was able to deduce that #2 WAS NOT on findagrave and that the other 3 Zion Chapel Cemeteries were on other specifically named roads-no duplications.
Fun.Home confirmed 1288 Coley Road. Entered Willie, Rosa and Erwin. Family member confirmed Rosa was in #2 and buried beside spouse and son. I think we're good. Thanks for getting back with me. Been working on this for 4 days.

Danny, did you create that cemetery? If so, would you add some location information to the main page of that cemetery for me.
My goal... to be sure I don't duplicate, but to be sure theres a Zion Chapel Baptist Cemetery #2 on Coley Road on the findagrave site so I can enter three people who I KNOW are buried there.

Danny, please look at this memorial, the cemetery where the burial is located. Is this burial, this cemetery, on Coley Road?
I have been trying to place Rosa Bell Code Young in the right cemetery. Her daughter Marilynn says she's buried in Zion Chapel Baptist #2, but there is no such thing on findagrave. I don't want to create a new cemetery if there exists one already that's correct. Is the cemetery where this burial is located on Coley Road? Do you know? | | | Rick and Kathy Wright
