As an Army Brat with a genealogy habit, I know what it's like to be far removed from the places that hold the keys to your family's story. I love websites like this one that allow me to help others in the way I've been helped so often.
I've just started my work as a photo volunteer and look forward to more cemetery tramping, but am also amenable to other sorts of research. If you need boots on the ground in southeast Georgia, feel free to send me an email or post a message. | |

 | Clementine Lebey Debi, Thank you so much. I just sent you a transfer request for her. She is the sister of my 3 great grandfather. There father was a famous composer of his day. You can check him out on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hill_Hewitt
he was also a rival of Edgar Allan Poe and according to legend one of there arguments ended with a fist fight. Coincidentally, both men, my 4 great grandfather and Poe both died on Oct. 7, which is tomorrow but about 40 years apart. Poe first of course.
Thank you so much for finding Clementine for me. I've looked for her before and not found her. Thank you so much for all your help. You'll be happy to know that she's found a good home. My younger sister has a baby not yet a year old and used Clementine for her middle name. Thanks again so much! Amy

 | RE: Henry J Sylvester Under better circumstances this a beautiful, well maintained National Cemetery but with the dry conditions here, the grass has gone dormant and is very brown. | | | Ron Meyers
 | RE: D'Angelo Pictures Debi, you're very welcome. I also have D'Angelo relatives here in NJ. Well, my nephew Jay anyway. I passed the info along to his father Chet just in case they were his relatives too. I think it's great to try to reconnect with the past in this way. Ron | | | Katie
 | RE: Happels @ Sts. Peter & Paul No, sorry, we are not related. I am just documenting the cemetery. If you want me to transfer them, just send me your member number through the Suggest a Correction link. KatieAdded by Katie on Mar 29, 2012 11:24 AM | | | Dave Milster
 | RE: Mason, Lewin & Milster Deb,
It's my pleasure and honor to record memorials for the people I've done so far (not nearly as many as most).
Anyway, if you look at Dad's memorial there's a photo of four people. My grandpa, Dad, me and my son. Four generations - enjoy.

 | RE: Aldenderfer - Buerk Debi Try it not. I added the photos (I think I did ?) last night. Maybe in another cemetery? I was working on three different cemeteries last night - I will try to find them. But photos have been added to correct memorials. AndrewAdded by Andrew on Dec 30, 2011 11:26 AM | | | Andrew
