|I have been interested in genology since 1979. We, my husband and I enjoy it. I thank everyone on find a grave for their efforts and the work they do to help others.|
Thanks to my husband, Dan & his friend, Dean, who go to cemeteries that are hard to get to and take pictures for me to add to memorials. I have taken a lot of them myself it is a joint effort.
I hope thru the pictures and Memorials that we are helping someone make their connections.
If I have a memorial and you are a relative feel free to go to edit and request a transfer. If they are not in our families I will be glad to transfer to you. I love it when they are personalized.
WE FEEL THE NEED TO MAKE A STATEMENT TO OTHER FAG MEMBERS. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF EVERYONE LOOSING LOVED ONES. WE HAVE NOTICED THAT FAG CONTRIBUTORS FIND OUT THAT SOMEONE PASSED AWAY AND IMMEDIATELY POST IT ON FIND A GRAVE, BEFORE IT HAS COME OUT IN THE NEWSPAPER AND TWICE THAT I AM AWARE OF BEFORE THE ENTIRE FAMILY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE DEATH.
HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF IT WAS A RELATIVE OF YOURS.
PLEASE PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS. FIND A GRAVE IS NOT A CONTEST AS TO WHO HAS THE MOST MEMORIALS. IT IS TO HONOR THE PERSON WHO HAS PASSED AWAY AND HELP PEOPLE LOCATE THEIR RELATIVES AND LOVED ONES GRAVE. I PERSONALLY WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR CONSIDERATION OF EVERYONE. THANK YOU.
Barbara & Dan.

First, let me thank you for the wonderful things you do for families.
I believe the death date for Lemuel C Snider buried in Childers Cemetery , located in New Milton, Doddridge Co.,West Virginia is wrong. Lemuel was a Union Soldier in the civil War and lived to be mustered out 1n 1865. I have many copies of the actual civil war documents. He couldn't have died in 1860.
What is strange, however, is that he has never shown uo on any cencus reports, marriages or anything since that date.
The cemetery is correct.... many, many Sniders are up there, including Lemuel's parents.
My question is are you certain that is the death date on the headstone?
Thank you in advance for any additional information you might have.

Barbara, Traced a gentleman that had ties to a Collins that's attached to my 2X great grand. It's deeply appreciated to see someone as yourself that has honored their memorial with a picture for future generations. As always great work and thanks always for your efforts. Take care, Mark

Thank you so much for getting this photo, and for all you do on this site and for my family (Hufford, Rollins) Dotson)finding their grave sites, posting the memorials, taking photos and accepting edits. I know you are not related, so the work you do for us is extra special!!

Thank you so much, so kind of you. I was just going over these again tonight and I see that you also care for another of my family members, Memorial# 94769197. But I won't ask for it... you have already been far too generous and I appreciate you so much. I can't ever expect any more from you.

Hi Barbara! Thank you so much to you and your husband for trying! I am deeply appreciative. If your husband is able to find it, would I be able to request that he makes note of the GPS coordinates so it can be 're-found'? As many photos as he is willing to take I will happily accept. I am wishing you a speedy recovery as well :)

|Brian McKibben||Your request for photo for Lillian Amos|
My wife and I searched the entire Stonewall Park Cemetery in Stonewood this past Sunday and did not find a marker for Lillian Amos. I called the Davis Funeral Home this afternoon. They are going to look her records up with them and see if they can either find where she really is (i.e., in a different cemetery) or put a temporary marker in Stonewall Park (in case it was never marked to begin with).
Just letting you know.

Hello and thank you Barbara, what if I asked for three memorials that are also my family? I would very much like to care for them but would be understanding if no. They are Memorial# 98574416
Memorial# 94769197 and Memorial# 94769035.
