| Bio and Links | I have been interested in genology since 1979. We, my husband and I enjoy it. I thank everyone on find a grave for their efforts and the work they do to help others.
Thanks to my husband, Dan & his friend, Dean, who go to cemeteries that are hard to get to and take pictures for me to add to memorials. I have taken a lot of them myself it is a joint effort.
I hope thru the pictures and Memorials that we are helping someone make their connections.

Thank you for the information.
The doddridge county roots web site just recently listed James Norman Harrison Windon & Maggie (Ross) Windon as being "residents" of Childers cemetery. Also their death certificates indicate that, too. So I was hoping for a quick result in my search for the Windons. I had hoped that their headstones just hadn't been photographed yet.
Thank you for taking time out to reply to my message. Your work walking the cemeteries and taking photographs of headstones is such a good thing for families looking for relatives. I've seen your name listed for a lot of the Ross's and Childer's and for that I'm very grateful. Seeing their headstones listed/photographed is almost as good as being there. Thanks again.

| Looking for Windon's
Dear Mrs. Nicholson:
I see that you have added several names to the Childers Cemetery in Doddridge County WV. Have you noticed any of the Windon family being buried there? Specifically James Norman Harrison Windon & his wife Margaret Ann (Ross) Windon, My Great-Grandparents. I saw that they were listed on a web site for Doddridge County Cemeteries as being interred there. I've added my grandparents and Grand Aunt & Uncle to the West Union Masonic Cemetery because we were able to get to that cemetery last spring, but not to the Childers cemetery without a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
If you get back up to the Childers Cemetery, could you please look and see if there are any of the Windon family there?

| Find A Grave Memorial# 97822519
Anna Priscilla Lyons' mother's last name was Hutson. Isabelle Hutson was married to my grandpa's great uncle, Jeremiah "Jeddy" Lyons.
Isabelle and her daughters, Lillie (11) and Hettie (9 months), all died in March 1907 during a measles/chicken pox epidemic. Isabelle's other children (Sarah, Anna Priscilla and Irvin) survived. However, Irvin was later kicked in the head by a horse and never fully recovered. He spent time in and out of Weston State Hospital.

Every one had him as Ezekiel, but I am not sure it is a Ashcraft name so could be or maybe the B looks like E? He is the right person anyway and it doesn't matter but would be nice to know.
