John Geis Obituary
I think I would try the
Hobart Public Library
200 S Main St.
Hobart, Okla 73651

They may have archived Obituaries or know where the newspaper archives are and would steer you there. They also may have a County History Book which would have something on the Geis Family.

I did a web search for Hobart, Okla Newspaper Archives and did get a site run by Genealogy Bank which is a pay deal.
They have 4 items in the newspaper archives for John Geis Oct 6, 1913, Oct 10, 1913, Oct 29, 1908 and Mar 18, 1919 which was a Hospital List
They only show a snipet of the article to intice you to join.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Geis Family
My Weilands lived in Gotebo at same time as the Geis'. Ezra or Esra Geis signed my fathers request for delayed birth certificate on 17 May 1941. My Uncle Bill worked for H. L. Geis. In his autograph book of sorts he noted that Eddie Geis married Anna Weber. Johns son Jonah Geis married by Aunt Fannie Weiland which marriage ended in divorce.
I believe Ezra Geis had a son Calvin also, this Calvin married Rebecca Smith.Rebecca is the daughter of my Aunt Florence Wrobbel Smith Leonhardt by a previous marriege They were all in Kingfisher County Okla. Go to Kingfisher Memorial Cem and enter Geis, there are a bunch of them, including AN Ezra.
