I am Carol Gwen Gibson, nickname Mimi, daughter of Maurine Marie Peck Gibson #74193097, and John Douglas Gibson #75495019. I have a very interesting ancestry through both of my parents and am attempting to put together all of my family's genealogy work in a way that is less confusing to me.|
I'm mostly working on the bare bones and collecting info now but my goal is to put it all in a collection of books with bios, history and photos of those who came before me.
I welcome any comments, suggestions and corrections. I truly appreciate this website, the volunteers and contributors who have made my quest so much easier.

I, too, am trying to locate the Thomas Peck that was born in 1727 and his wife, Dorothy. )Peleg's parents). Peleg's brother is my 5th gr-grandfather. The book of the Peck family indicates they died in Rhode Island. I can't find them there, either....good luck!

Thank you for doing that! Lisa

You're most welcome. Yes, I was referring to the memorial in Woodlawn, and I obviously should have given you the name.
I don't have a photo. Although I live in Kansas City, I have absolutely no family buried here. It was a coincidence I found your info. I keep intending to do some photos in local cemeteries, but I never seem to catch up on the ones I'm working on from my out-of-state trips. I'll try to remember your request if I ever get out there!

I was searching for a different Sophia A. Austin, and noticed you have a nice memorial with no known cemetery for this person, and there is another memorial out there with a nice headstone picture for what is obviously the same person, with only the birth date off by one digit. Just thought I would alert you in case you were unaware.
