Thank You
Thank you, Dusty, for the excellent photograph of Henry and Lucy (Joy) Viets' monument. Do you mind if I post this picture on my family tree? I will be happy to give you credit as the photographer.
Thank you for considering my request.

Thank you so very much for the photo of Jemima HATHAWAY's grave. There was a bit of a mystery surrounding her and you've certainly helped clear it up!

Many thanks for all you do!

RE: Wheeland Memorials
We are connected through marriage with the Cryder family (distantly cousins). Feel free to copy any photos or info that we have shared. Hey....guess that means we are distantly related too! =)

Thanks (again) for the good-looking photos of the Michael and Florilla Ellwood markers. Nicely done. The photos do indeed dress up the memorials. Thanks so much.

RE: Possibly related? Bower #
Your 3 x great-graddfather was the brother to my great-grandfather, John Gotlieb Bower.

I can see where one of his daughters (your 2x great-grandmother) and (my 1C2R) Martha Jane Bower married a George W. Wheeland.

But after that I have a few children's names but no data on them. So can't trace you on down.

So you and I are one of those "Removed Cousins" created by John Frederick (Johannes Friederich K. Bower) & John Gotlieb Bower.

John Bower (Johnnas T Bauer), the father of John F. & John G., was the first to use the spelling of "John" and of "Bower" in the United States. Supposedly because he now wanted to be American and wanted his name to sound American.

As for the photos, yes you may use them in your research, but I do wish you'd give credit for them to me as 98% of them I hold originals to. I have others, I just never got around to posting them.

So nice to meet you Dusty.
Lolly (Bower)
