Thank you for your note. I have never found a connection between Michael and my James, but I think it's possible. There was another James Carden and his wife Mary who lived in Manayunk and were buried at St. John the Baptist. On his tombstone, it says that he was born in Rosserk parish Ballysakeery, county Mayo. I think I remember seeing the baptisms for Ballysakerry and seeing Michael's name. I will look in my notes and let you know if I find it. The records there before 1843 are missing and the LDS film for the later records are very hard to read. I have a picture of that James Carden's stone at St. John's if you are interested. I suppose you have the plot plans at Westminster for Michael? I have them, if you don't.
