RE: Fountain Rogers
I am, Indeed! is my email address. My tree is Wylie-Grannis-Lane-Rogers. I'd love to hook up! I've never thought the two james' were two different people, rather, I thought somebody couldn't read someone's handwriting! My family claims them both for the same person, but have been unsure as to the middle name; I'll bet though the the "M" is for Madison - since George's middle was Washington. (They had this president thing going on!

RE: Fountain Rogers
I just realized you meant at Shiloh - I'm sure we both are related to them. From the looks of them they are all siblings of your Fountain, as well as their descendants. (So more you than me!) My folks ended up in Randolph County in Ravenden Springs. James's son George was my grgrgrandfather; my grgrandfather Walker Rogers was the only one of George's children who stayed behind in Arkansas when the rest of the family moved to the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma, after George's death in 1895. Walker is buried in Ravenden Springs, and his father George is buried in Highland Cemetary in Sharp County.

RE: Fountain Rogers
Most likely! Fountain's brother, James, was my great-great-great grandfather!
