I am fairly new to researching my genealogy and I am thankful that I stumbled across this website. I have not only been able to expand my genealogy from information I have found here, but have also had the opportunity to help others as well by uploading photos or providing information.
The main genealogical names that I have researched (and continue to research) are Cotten, Boettger, Altus, Flint, Everts, Odom, and Melton. | |

 | West, TX Yes, Josh, it got pretty well tore up but so many more could have died had it not been for the quick thinking of so many others. They are strong people in that little town and they will rebuild quickly.

 | Saint Elmo Odom Please send me a request for Ida Odom, Saint's wife. She is buried right next to him...there are a bunch of Odoms in this cemetery and I think I got all the photos of them. Send requests if you would like the pictures. Barb | | | Barbara Snead-Haar
 | Walnut Grove Photos I live right down the street from Walnut Grove Baptist Church. I will go there tomorrow and see if I can fulfill your photo requests. If you have more to add...please do so. Barb | | | Slick

 | RE: Margaret E. There are no records for Pleasant Hill Cemetery. They were lost in a fire. : ( There are partial recordings listed on various sites based on newspaper articles (obits), death certificates, etc. I have MANY family members (grandfather, uncle, numerous grandparents and grandaunts/uncles, etc.) buried there with no headstone. I believe they were some of the original "occupants" given their graves are closest to the church, i.e. the Hendersons, Allisons, Irvins, etc. | | | rondotswfl

 | Margaret E. "Dove" Allison Thompson Grave Thanks so much for accepting my request re: Margaret. I know many of my family's headstones are missing in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. I was there myself almost 2 yrs ago but didn't have my family tree built up as much then so she wasn't on my list to search. I appreciate your time and effort! Ron | | | Don Summers
