I was born and raised in San Francisco and now live about 15 minutes from the city. I am a retired teacher. I have two children and three grandchildren.|
I have always been interested in my families past. Genealogy has become one of my hobbies. I am researching Begovich, Novello, Di Vittorio and Isola.
Finding tombstones and receiving a thank you does the heart good.

I just posted a headstone photo to the memorial for George A Barker and notice you have a photo on that memorial. However, that particular photo is for George A Parker (memorial 3618399) which already has a photo. Therefore, could you please delete from the memorial to George A Barker? Thank you -
May I have permission to use your photo of the tombstone of my cousin for my genealogy?

|Samantha||Requesting a transfer|
To request a transfer;
go to the memorial and click on the "edit" key in the upper right hand corner.
Then you can type your request and send it.
Then I will have to update the memorial before I transfer it because I see you are a collector and not a researcher.

I don't think I've thanked you yet for all the help in Holy Cross - especially finding correct dates. It is appreciated!
|Anne Arkfeld||Henry Workman's Gravestone|
Thank you very much for taking a photo of Henry's gravestone. I appreciate the time and effort that you have given this website. It has helped me immensely with my genealogical research.

I fulfilled Anne Arkfeld's request today for a photo of Catherine's grave marker and when I uploaded one of two photos that I took, I saw that you had uploaded a photo of your own. Unless Anne had duplicated her request, you must have posted the photo without a request. The request protocol is there only to avoid what happened today ... a duplication of effort. I could have fulfilled someone else's request in the meantime.
Just thought I'd remind you of Find A Grave's little regulations.

Thanks for deleting the duplicate! No problem. It's happened to me twice in the last two weeks! (I was uploading with sleep deprivation and spaced out.) Thankfully there is a guy I've never met but rely on ... he checks my work and adds tons of data and edits for me. And catches my errors and duplicates! It's awesome.
