Bio Photo Like many of you I have had the bug for many years. I used to walk through cemeteries even as a child and wonder about the people resting there. Now I hope my grandchildren will learn more about their relatives by following my lead.

If you see anything on any memorials that I manage that you would like changed please let me know and I can do that. Just post a message for me using the edit button.

I will transfer memorials within Find a Grave guidelines.

DO NOT post obituaries as I WILL NOT ADD THEM!

Thomas Duplicate
Thanks to alerting me to the duplicate in Memory Lawn Cemetery for the Thomas memorial. I don't care for duplicates and I appreciate you letting me know.

RE: Deleting Flowers
As I understand it, only the person who added the flower can delete it. So you could drop them a note to request deleting the duplicate flowers, but may not be worth the effort (particularly if it is an inactive member).

Good luck!

RE: Posting Photos
Glad I could help...we're all a big volunteer team here on FindAGrave, dping our best to build a record that will make sense to those who follow us, and part of that is helping each other while we do our best!

All my best,

Posting Photos
Hi "fillmore",

Just a small tip as you are starting out...I have encountered a number of your memorials where you've posted a photo of the person, but coded it as a "Grave" photo thus resulting in the symbol of a gravestone, rather than a picture frame, appearing in any list where your memorial is a search result. The problem with this is that future volunteers use this as a reference and think that no grave photo is needed since one has already been posted.

There's no way that I have found to change the code on a photo already posted, so the fix is to (i) save a copy of the photo temporarily to your computer, (ii) delete the photo from the memorial, then (iii) repost the photo, using the appropriate category from the pulldown menu (default is Grave, you can choose Person, Family or Other).

Thanks and good luck in your research,
