My name is Heather and I love geneology. My fascination began on my journey to find my maternal natural grandmother. After a long search I had her death certificate in hand but could not find her grave. Needless to say she now has a beautiful memorial. Without the help of photo volunteers it would have been difficult. I want to pay it forward and help those who are not able to travel to find their loved ones final resting place.|

Maybe we should forget it Heather. Since I posted that and you claimed it numerous people have emailed me and said its on private land and no one is sure theres any headstones. I looked on a website that lists cemeterys in that county and it said the owners give tours to groups. If theres no headstones its a waste of your time. One person said cattle graze there and walk over the cemetery. Thanks for your offer though. It would have been nice to have a picture on her memorial. I took pictures of her Dads headstone in Yuma and the cemetery groundsman and a man from the office poked around and found it buried. They brought it up and we all cleaned it so I could get the picture. Many helpful people out there especially when they find out your a volunteer and where your going to post the picture. Thanks again for your effort. Sandra Munyon

I saw your reference that William F Thomas (#38207211) as her father. My grandmother, Ethel Roslea Thomas Maxwell 1897-1974 (#63937569) was also a daughter of William F Thomas. I believe that Vera and my grandmother, Ethel, were half sisters. Any other info about the Thomas family would be helpful. I have a picture of William Thomas and Ethel that I will eventually post.
