|Marc Houseman||RE: Cahill Family|
Carvel's estate was probated here in Franklin County in December of 1860. We can assume he died shortly before that. If I get some time this week, I'll check his probate file for a possible firm death date. His burial place is a mystery to me (I'm descended from Samuel Sr. to Squire and then to Squire's daughter Casandra Zenobia Cahill who married my great-grandfather James A. Houseman), but I suspect he was buried where Samuel Sr. and Arminta are buried along with numerous other relatives, but I certainly cannot prove that. Another possibility is the grave lot at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Washington where Flavius Cahill was buried much later. I've often wondered if there are other unmarked graves in that lot.

That is very nice of you. He was my uncle. I would be honored to have it transferred if you don't mind.
|A Moore||RE: Spotswood Palmer|
His name is Spotswood. The only variation is two 't's. I have numerous court records, his headstone, state documents of his children, his name pub l ished in a book. I wonder where you might have seen it as Spotsworth?

|Larry Gene Fortin||RE: # 58558150 John d Fortin|
Thanks Debbie. It was a bit of a shock when I found this death cert because nobody in my family ever talked about it or him. I have posted it on the Fortin family tree on ancestry .com BUT.....he died in St Louis Missouri so it is easy to download from their digital records web site. Here is the direct link to his:
Let me know if it works. Again, Thanks.
I am still digging to find out where his Grandfather Peter Fortin and Grandmother Rosaline was buried.

Please add to his list of children;
Lawrence E. Fortin
27 February 1896 - 6 January 1915
I can send you a copy of the death cert if you need it.
Cause of death was suicide and I have not been able to track a burial place for him even though the death certificate lists "place of burial or removal" as Greenville, IL and date of burial was 8 January 1915.
