|Gail Hinton Seward||Blacker - Hinton families|
greetings Marilyn VanBerg, I found you through Sheyenne Alvarez...I was responding to a question she asked me & found the note you left her. Isabelle Hinton Blacker was my gg aunt,could be 3 greats, this is off the top of my head. My gg grandfather is Daniel Ferdinand Darius Hinton of Newcomb Twp, Champaign Co, IL. I have been fascinated with Isabelle, she sounds like a really nice lady & especially taking in so many homeless children. I have a Hinton Family book self published by Daisy Hinton Bonner in 1980's. Come to find out she died in Jul 2012 at 109 years of age. Oh how I would have loved to sit with her. She lived in an area of MI where my aunt lived down the road, my aunt was from my Hale side of my family. My goal is to update Daisy's info that she collected. She & Harley & Ethel would make road trips to IN to visit & get acquainted with the Hinton family from Frankfort & Boone Co area....I am very happy to share info I have with you ladies. Thanks so much for giving me permission to use your photos, and for your reply. For some reason I didn't receive notification in my email that you had replied, so I'm glad I just happened to check in back on here. Thanks for the added family history info too. Personal stories and memories are wonderful.
|Sheyenne Alvarez||May I use your photos?|
I've come across your photo of Isabella Adeline Hinton Blacker. I am a descendant of her brother, Corrydon Hinton. I have a family tree going at FamilySearch.org and would like permission to use your photos as I fill in information on the family tree. Would that be alright with you? Thank you for posting them. It's so fun to put faces with names.

You can find me at Grave Finder. Sorry for the confusion! My partner turned out to be a waste of friendship effort.

I am a Caldwell descendent doing research for a planned genealogy trip. Can you tell me if the Robert Caldwell that you posted a photo of is the son of Alexander and Hannah Sample Caldwell of Nicholas County, Kentucky?
Marilyn! I have heard so much about you! My dad is Phil Beaver. I'm Erin (Beaver)Cramer. I too have been working on family history for quite some time. Dad has told me for a long time how much you have on the family, but I just haven't gotten around to contacting you! I see all the pictures you have! I have a lot, especially since grandma died. I have found so much in her house in regards to information and pictures, but without her, I am not sure who is who! Your picture of Grandma (Carrie) Caldwell answers a question I've had for about a year! I have that picture, but I had no idea who it was! It's great to have someone else working on this too! Let me know if you need anything. My friend and I share an account on Find A Grave. We go by gravefinders. Looking forward to learning a lot from you!
