Arthur's photos are up. I called the city office and she said there isn't a listing for Wilma and no dates for Arthur other than 1888 to 1888. I have to believe the memorial for Wilma is incorrect. I will try to get a look again at the markers next time I am there. Paul

Arthur's marker is difficult to read as it's under a tree and worn slightly. I added contrast to the photo and zoomed in on the numbers. Comparing the month to days, it could be 8 months rather than 3 months as I first thought. I have a phone number for the cemetery so I will try to get more information that way. Paul

The 3rd Wilka memorial listed is for Wilma, however the 3rd marker (Tall white) there is for Arthur G? son of William and Martha. He was 3 months 28 days old when he died Jan. 13, 1888. I don't know if Rob had wrong information or I missed/no marker for Wilma. Do you want to make a memorial for Arthur? Paul

You're very welcome. I'm sorry that the headstone said so little. We all hope to find some juicy bits of new information when we request headstone photos.
Check the usgenweb.org. I have been walking the cemeteries in clay co, so I have posted the pictures on there. The Burr Oak Cemetery is in the country so this poor cemetery has been vandilized and some of the headstones are broken and laying on the ground and it is on a hillside.

Wendy: I want you to know that my wife and I made an effort to get to the Ping Cemetery today. We could not find it. I have the legal location down to the Section, where we drove all the public roads.
I think the cemetery is on private property somewhere. I stopped into the Garfield County Museum tday also and asked some questions. They have a few pictured of monuments from there, but could give me do specific directions to get to the cemetery. They may call me with directions, and if I get something more specific, I will make another attempt.

I transferred Edward and Leida to you as you are related. I was looking for a Conrad in this area so I entered these memorials. If others are family, just let me know and I will transfer them as I will not be researching them in the future. I did make the links and added her maiden name.

11-B if they are not buried in row 1-5, the row above has 0 to 3 head stones. But you have to look.

You're very welcome! I'll check the cemetery transcription book for Jibbo & Annie and let you know what I find. I can also check my pictures to see if I already have pictures of their stone.

|Linda Ryan||Photo request for Dieken, Tonjes J|
I ran a quick check of the Diamond Grove Cemetery Records and find no one listed with this name (or the alternate spelling your provided in your request). However, I have found gravestones in Diamond Grove for people who do not appear in the database available online. I will ask at the records office just to make sure they have no information in their files.
I was able to confirm that Tonjes J Dieken was alive and counted in the 1880 US Census. If you would like copies of the relevant page I would be happy to send them to you. I also found a picture of the hospital where Tonjes died. If you are interested, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
