I have been into Geneology since I was about 10 (1976). My grandmother Edna Lee (Walker) Jones kept a family book which caught my interest. |
I am so thankful for Find A Grave it has helped me find some cousins and so many facts on my family. I would love to connect with any relatives out there.

9-22-14 - I want to let everyone know that we have a joyous new addition to our family!! My first grandchild!! Lily Cheyanne. So if I am delayed in responding to anyone it's only because I don't have as much free time as before.

Hey Denice, I just noticed a note you had left on my grandparents memorial stating you are a 4th cousin 2x removed. Just wondered what your genealogy line was since you are probably my cousin? I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm sorry I have not been able to find Emma Elizabeth Burrows grave yet. I know she and Zeke Davis divorced after 1934 but I do not know if she remarried or what.

My sister and I walked past this headstone several times, my eagle eyed husband finally saw the names and dates in the upright areas on the stone!

You are welcome. We looked for the other ones some when we were there but couldn't find them. We will look again next time.
Where are you from?

|Melzora Towne||Melzora Mann|
Hello, My name is also Melzora, I was wondering if anyone has the origin of the name, what it means and where it comes from! our family lore says it is Native American meaning Honey Fox, however it has been suggested by others it could be Greek. Or that it is a play on the name Aromzel meaning angel of light, from the Gnostic texts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeon_%28Gnosticism%29
If anyone has information on the Etymology of the name Melzora please contact me at Armozel999@Gmail.com
Hi Denice, I posted the obit as you requested, but I edited it per findagrave guidelines. Thank you.

I'm still looking. Each time I'm at a cemetery I search for home. I might eventually find him.

Happy to help! I just realized the stone with both names was not in Philena's memorial, so I added it.

Take a look at Roger's memorial. Finally found their marker and took a picture.
