RE: Duplicate Thomas Benson Heisler memorials
Hi Cousin!!
I've been meaning to email you and Bee (how is she by the way?) I saw Grandpa Tom's other memorial after I entered mine. I'll delete it this weekend when I dive back into everything.

The only pictures we have of Grandpa Tom are on slides at my Mom's house. (Dad had something like 20-30 slide carousels.) Next time I'm over there, I'm going to bring them home and scan them. Mom also has Granny & Granpda Tom's marriage certificate or whatever its called. It's very large - it's like 18 x 24 framed if memory serves. I need to get it scanned because the ink is fading horribly!

I sent my brother Kurt (who lives in Springfield) to Ferncliff to get photos of Aunt Doris and Uncle's grave markers. While there, he took photos of other Heisler's markers - but I don't know who they are. Would you like me to email them to you in case you don't already have them?

RE: Malaska Loretta Titsworth Barlup
Hi Annette,

Please give me some background information. I have Malaska's maiden name as Titsworth. Was she born out of wedlock, to the mother of Lydia Heisler? I am trying to work with you, but I need a source.

On the stone is spelled Denny. I'll add a note.

Mt Carmel
Most of the "old" Thompsons, and many relatives, are near the church. The earliest Thompsons are in a rod square plat at the back corner along Prettyboy Road. Their original farm is at the bottom of the hill.

RE: Joseph R Heisler
You asked about the plot where Joseph is laid and there appears to be no relations to him that I can see. The main plot belongs to James & Mary Robertson. The grave directly next to him is Wilbur Morse 1876-1920. On the other side is Walter Rymer 1861-1933.
