Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy my whole life. I was adopted as an infant, and have researched my adoptive family as well as my biological family. Whenever I visit a cemetery to photograph monuments, I try as often as I am able to leave the monument looking better than when I first saw it. I water any plants that need a drink, sweep off any debris that is on the stone, and often will wash any stains left behind by birds. My feeling is that if the family were around, they would do the same. Since I have volunteered to assist distant family, I feel a duty to assist.

Hugs from Michigan!!!

Hi Caron,

Could I respectfully request that you remove your photo from the above referenced memorial (Will Henderson) as it is the wrong photo for this person. Thank you in advance.

I am related to the Watsons through Maud Eakin. Her number is 70632666. I do not think that it is a close relationship, but that is how I am related! Nice to hear from you!

Arilla's daughter Marilda
In looking more closely at your photograph, I see that behind Arilla's is that of her daughter Marilda Beecher Eggleston. Marilda had 11 children, many of whom are buried in the Cronk Cemetery. It was a book published by the Flint Genealogical Society which helped me to track these people down. It was especially helpful in finding the married names of daughters, always a challenge. That Society also created some excellent records of marriages--when and names of both bride and groom.

Thank you. I've done so much research on her family that I really wanted to link it with others.

BRABBS, Eva - not at cemetery
Well....thank you for trying! I'm not sure what to do now. Perhaps they moved her? I suppose that is a possibility. I guess I will have to try to figure this one out! Thank you so much for taking the time to look for her stone. I appreciate your help.
