"Everyone deserves to be remembered"
Find A Grave memorials should be viewed as works in progress. I will gladly link families, add tidbits to memorials or correct my errors LINKS: Pulling all these families together with links is great. Thanks to all who check their edits often. PHOTOS: Please note that photos are not always good due to the time of day of photo and some are old markers in poor condition which need cleaning, etc., but they are worth a view to someone searching for an ancestor. The only time I add an "overview" photo to someone else memorial is to show location which is a great help in finding a marker in a large area and/or to add data on the photo caption. If you wish for photos to be deleted, please let me know. No need to ask permission for using my photos, but just add FAG as your source. BIO: Millions of folks read funeral notices online, so they are public knowledge. Sometimes an excerpt is added or perhaps more data to a memorial, but often that information assists genealogist in making family ties. MEMORIALS: Excluding my own kin, my memorials are up for grabs...please use the "edit" and add your FAG ID# to your request. Many of my memorials are no kin to me, just honoring their memory. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Many who ask for a photo request do not take the time to acknowledge the fulfillment of those request. Etowah County summers are hot and humid and often have cold winters as volunteers roam around trying to fulfill your request. If any of the pictures I make are not what you want, don't be shy just let me know and I will delete and you can request again for another volunteer to try to get a better photo. VOLUNTEERS: Yes, we are volunteers, so let's be kind to one another. If you are rude or disrespectful it only reflects on you. There are four things that you cannot recover in life: (1) The Stone--after it's thrown, (2) The Word--after it's said, (3) The Occasion--after it's missed, (4) The Time--after it's gone. BOOKS: Compiler of The Griffin Family book (out of print)-but in libraries across Alabama and South Carolina, and numerous books of other family histories, cemetery books and member of The Heritage of Etowah County, Alabama committee. Blessings upon anyone who strive for the preservation of family records, this truly must be a labor of love.
****PLEASE NOTE**** If I have posted a memorial and there is no monument photo and you have one, please feel free to add one to my memorials. I do not own the memorial....just simply the "caretaker" at the moment!

|Bill Hunt||Joseph L Moore|
Joe Moore and my dad were cousins. Joe and Carolyn had a daughter named JoAnn Moore Lee. She married Joe Lee. She is probably buried near them.
Thanks for your help.
