Bio Photo "Everyone deserves to be remembered"

Find A Grave memorials should be viewed as works in progress. I will gladly link families, add tidbits to memorials or correct my errors.

MEMORIALS: Excluding my own kin, my memorials are up for grabs...please use the "edit" and add your FAG ID# to your request. It is not a race or quest to see how many entries I have! Many of my memorials are no kin to me....just honoring their memory.

BIO: Everyone has their own way of contributing to Find A Grave and most of us have read the guidelines. Millions of folks read funeral notices online, so they are public knowledge. Sometimes we add an excerpt or more data to a memorial, but often that information assists genealogist in making family ties.

PHOTOS: Please note that photos are not always good due to the time of day of photo and some are old markers in poor condition which need cleaning, etc., but they are worth a view to someone searching for an ancestor. As I look back and see the first photos I submitted - I do wish I could retake all those. The only time I add an "overview" photo to someone else memorial is to show location which is a great help in finding a marker in a large area and/or to add data on the photo caption. If you wish for photos to be deleted, please let me know. No need to ask permission for using my photos, but just add FAG as your source. ♥----♥----♥----♥----♥----♥----♥-----ngl received a nice message May 2015 from a lady in Tennessee: "Just wanted to thank you for the pics of these great great grandparents. I really appreciate that you made close-up individual pictures of name and dates and then the whole stone. Wish more people would do this. Please keep up the good work. Thanks again." (This is why I do several photos of tombstones which makes it all worthwhile to others.)

PILGRIMS REST CEMETERY, Southside, Etowah County, Alabama. New book, EDITION II, published as of 1-14-2015 packed full of family history. All of Edition I was included, as well as six more years of burials, additional information found, and more than hundred burials without tombstones that we were unaware of when the first book was compiled. 200 pages of burials dating back to 1859 through Nov. 31, 2014.
