I love taking pictures ~ and this is the perfect opportunity to do what I love while helping others. This has become my hobby ~ I love walking through cemeteries and looking at the "OLD" headstones while searching for your love ones. We pick a day to search a cemetery near by while on vacation, if possible. I even have a bag ~ I call my "grave kit". Some headstones are hard to read ~ so thats where my kit comes in handy. |
I also appreciate ALL the photo volunteers out there.. It is really a blessing when a stranger will search for your love ones and post the pictures for you. Thanks you volunteers!

Cathy, do you have a complete listing of the
people who are buried in this cemetery? I'm
looking for Louella 'Long' Berry, b. July 20, 1871 and died on March 16, 1904. I know she
is buried somewhere lose to Chelsea. Any help
would be appreciated. I have walked through
some of the little country cemeteries and the
one at Chelsea with no luck. Thank you.....

The Jane Campbell in Oakwood Cemetery, died on July 12, 1910. According to her death certificate and cemetery records, Jane was born in Tennessee, 70 years old and widowed. The cemetery book also list her son, J.W. Campbell (d. Oct. 15, 1915) buried next to her.
Hope this helps,
Cathy, what do you use to clean a stone? Also,
would you happen to have a list of the graves
in the Bushyhead cemetery? I know it's on
private land, but thought you might have this
information. I'm searching for Louella M.E.
'Long' Berry. I know that she is buried somewhere around Chelsa, I have been trying to find her burial for several years and she was
kin to the Atchley's. Any help would be apprecaited.

Yes they are related. Some are Aunts, Uncles, and there are some that are Grandparents. Sometimes I feel like I am related to everyone. Thank
