William C Ellis
I'm wondering if there's more than one William C Ellis buried here. The military record has birth 1930/death 1955 and states it's a flat granite marker (S/Sgt. Air Force).

Also, to further the Catherwood vs. Cathwood question. His X-wife and the military headstone document both say Cathwood.

Charles E. and Myrle Ellis McIver
Marie Ellis McIver is on my family tree. Her grandmother was my ancestor: Sara Victoria Ruff, and her grandfather Matthew Isaiah Floyd. Marie's mother was Emma Victoria Floyd who married William Catherwood Ellis. Marie's husband, Charles McIver was the son of my ancestor John Lanier McIver, Gadsden Co., Fla. to Jax., Fl. where he died. William Catherwood Ellis: son of George B. Ellis, C. S. 1833/1912, son of Giles Underhill Ellis, S.I.W, 1809/1886, son of Giles Ellis, 1777 son of William Ellis, R. S. will probated Tattnal Co., Ga. Dec. 1805

My question to researchers for this family is: Did Marie Ellis McIver and Charles have children? Names?

Many thanks for the good pictures. My family lost so many due to wooden house fires in Florida

RE: Wow, thank you!
By the way...the records in the cemetery office had her as Marie Angelina so when I asked for Angelique at first she couldn't find her. But her headstone clearly has her name as Angelique.

RE: Ellis Family ~ Fort White City Cemetery
Hi Ginger. Seems like we're cousins, William C. Ellis is my 3rd cousin via the Gibson line. (You said his middle name was Cathwood, I thought was Catherwood?) Great photo of Emma by the way! In any case, yes I have a few questions… if you wouldn't mind, could we communicate via email? I'm Rich Dohm / scooterdome@verizon.net

Ellis Family ~ Fort White City Cemetery
Hello EV. I have a puzzle for you. HERE is a gravestone photo you took of Emma V. Ellis. Her husband's name (pretty sure) was William C. Ellis, and I'll bet that's him just out-of-view? Do you know anything about the other half of this photo? Rich.
