PM me at Idoso@swbell.net
I tried to send email and it bounced back.

I am aware of another pioneer cemetery on private land, near the Hess winery, where the Partricks are at rest. Jenelle (Jones)Partrick is buried at the Redwood Cemetery off Mt. Veeder Road.
I'm not sure how much history/photos to get into on this site.
Are you aware of the book "The Mount Veeder Resort, A History of Napa County Settlers" by Cecelia Elkington Setty? There are bits of Partrick and Moyer family history in it. Very interesting reading!
|Judith Shamp||distant relative|
I was led to this site by a distant cousin, Donald Moyer and the Partrick name hit a soft spot. Many of my ancestors are buried (Jones and Moyer) at Redwood Cemetery.
I believe Jasper Partrick had a son Elmer, who had one son Darel, whose mother was my great aunt Jennell Jones. I have pictures of the Partrick family, and of course, stories that my father Ray W. Moyer told and wrote down. Jennell(Jenelle) died when Darel was 8-9 y.o.and the story goes, that Elmer was in a terrible frame of mind to raise Darel...So Darel came to live with Rose Jones and Rollin Moyer c. 1923-1924 until Elmer was able to regain his parental role and Darel "was ready for high school." Rose and Rollin had one son, my father. Ray Wilbur Moyer and he often would visit Darel(candy store) in his later years whenever he got to Napa. Since my dad was an only child, he recalled with great joy the "brother" he had for a few years.
I've got a lot to add to this site, but my time is so limited with art commissions..www.narrative-threads.com Judith Rae Moyer-Shamp

I got your message about the new headstone. We are under snow right now but if you send me a message in the spring I will be happy to go take a look. I think I can find the location pretty easily. In the future to send me a message (Since I have messages on my profile page disabled) Just chose one of my memorials and use the edit tab and chose option six to send other information. This way it will not attach to a photo request for someone else. I think it is great that you got a stone for him. My fathers family did something similar when they say our GGG Grands had stones that were about 4"x6".

No, not friends. My grand uncle Flavel Bingham was her step father. I've been filling in the leaves on my tree's branches.
