Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love doing genealogy, love going to cemeteries, searching, and taking pictures for others. I have worked on my own family genealogy since the 1970s.

Please submit EDITS to name, birth/death dates, birth/death place, relationship links to parents/spouse, plot location and/or marker transcription through specific links available under the Edit feature. Only other changes should be submitted using The "Suggest any other correction or addition"

TRANSFER requests for the most part will be made within the Findagrave guidelines, for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Please request transfers via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you - please include your relationship. I will consider all transfer requests and some may be granted outside the guidelines.

Don't hesitate to use the PHOTOS. However, please, do not copy my photos to or other sites without giving me credit. Simply indicate: Mountain Traveler 2006-2015 @ Find A Grave. I just think this is a courtesy to the time and effort taken to obtain the photos.

Please DON'T DUPLICATE memorials in cemeteries and do NOT make duplicate cemeteries. Check all name possibilities and spellings before adding a new name.

Thank you!

RE: John Clark photo request
Yes! Mountain Traveler, seen a few
'rocky high cemeteries all the way to
Indiana, on to Wisconsin, and plots slap-up
against walls, trees, at the edge of hills,
though some weren't in that place to
begin with, even places rovers and creeks
changed courses, and washed away whole
burial sections. There's or used to be
one of many that status in Bartholomew
County, Indiana, for My Peter Troutmans
all lost with the flow, and a few where
ah as they are. Marker was ordered,
yet to be located, purchased, ordered
and placed. Oh! Such as Life and Estates!
Nothing left but history.

RE: John Clark photo request
Yes! Mountain Traveler, Great photo after
all, have seen weather-wise worse, or the Sun
wasn't shinning at all. Met John & Evelyn once
on a visit here after they moved to the area.
Been tracking them shortly, when wondering
where they maybe. Again, A+ Photo, and the
Flag is no problem (unless somebody else takes
it!). Thank you, again.

Thanks for the edit. I added the other death as well. I wish we had an EXACT date of his death. Record keeping was not a priority back in those days. Thanks!

John Clark photo request
Thank you, for the fine photo of
John Clark's Military Grave marker.
I've sponsored the Memorial forever.
He was a spouse of a distant cousin,
Evelyn Zellers Clark (1919 - 2011)
from Indiana.

RE: Got it
Yes, that would be my grandfather. :) My grandmother mentioned that he had a spanish middle name so I assume that is correct but I can still check on that. Thank you for adding the picture. Good luck to you. :)

RE: Oakland Cemetery-Salazar
I should also say that the obit for Margaret Salazar could be wrong about the birthdate. She was my grandmother's sister and it was her that gave me the dates. I will have to ask her again.

RE: Oakland Cemetery-Salazar
I just talked to my grandmother and she said it was the same person. Sorry for taking so long to reply.
