|Karen Bowyer/Wyatt||William D Wyatt|
My related line is Wyatt. I was wondering how you found the middle name for William Derald Wyatt? My cousin has his middle name as Derek. If it is indeed Derald I will correct what I have. If there was an obituary could you please tell me how to get a copy of it ? I appreciate the pictures of the headstone and the work you have done.
It seems Wm D Wyatt is the only child they had. I would like to know more family members. There is a resemblance of Wm D to my dad, Warren Dee Wyatt.
Thanks so much, Karen Wyatt Bryan

Pleasant Dale Church is in Union Co., the road in front of it is the dividing line between Union Co. and Pontotoc Co., the road is maintained by Union Co. I believe you may have lived on this road with Buster.
The Church does not have a cemetery but many folks that go to that Church are buried in Old Union Cemetery. That cemetery is in Pontotoc Co. but is only a few miles from Pleasant Dale.
Most "old folks" refer to the cemetery as Old Union, but it has also been called Union Church of the Nazarene Cemetery, and now a sign has been erected "Union Cemetery" and on Find-A-Grave it is named Union Cemetery. There are several unmarked graves there and some marked with only a rock or sandstone.
John Ike's place was just around the curve north of Pleasant Dale Church and was in Union Co.
I take the sister of Minnie Lee Garrett to be the "Viola Garrett" listed on the 1900 census. She shows being born in Oct. 1884.
This "Ola' Garrett married Walter Alexander Faust (the brother of Baxter Faust). I have no record of her death (there is no engraved marker for her at Old Union Cemetery) but show her children as James Brooks Faust, Avery Faust, and Oren "Red" Faust.
By the 1930 census Walter shows to have a wife named Mittie that was born about 1894.
I have that Moody Quay Faust (born 1913) was the son of Baxter and Minnie Lee Garrett Faust.
I have not been able to place the "Quay" you refer to being born about 1928 (other than the 1940 census in Baxter Fausts' household shown as a cousin).
If I have any of this wrong or you can add anything, just let me know
|Ray Jackson||Hello Pat|
Long time no "see". I hope all is well your way. I posted Alfred Brewer Robison's autograph on his memorial. It was taken from his sister's Civil War Pension. Please download and keep in your files. It is almost as good as a picture. Ray Jackson, Elizabeth Angeline Robison Jackson's descendant.
Thank you so much for taking and posting the nice photo of Jack & Clara Cooper's monument. I appreciate your work! Patricia

I have been to Shiloh Cemetery! I accompanied a visitor from out of state to the cemetery and added this family to Find A Grave for her. Not as senile as I feared!

Thanks Pat! I will delete the other. For the life of me, I don't remember why I did this memorial. I don't know the people and I have never been to this cemetery. But, my name is on it, so I guess I did it. Were you answering a photo request or are they one of your relatives?
