RE: Jacob Jones
How do you descend from Jacob Jones? Do you know his parents' names? I believe I'm their 5 th great great granddaughter,

Hi The veterans star at his memorial is a very common one. There is no way to tell which war he was in. By his age I think he was to old for the Civil War. I suspect that he was probably in the Mexican American war 1846-1848. The age is about right. I do not know where you can find a roster of soldiers for that war. You may have to check thru the state of Vermont. Good Luck

Mt. Olivet Cemetary, Renton WA
Hi Charlene,

I saw that you requested photos at Mt. Olivet in Renton, Washington. The cemetary doesn't allow non-family members to take photos (if they don't know where the graves are located; they won't give the information out) so you will need to send a letter to Mt. Olivest asking for the photos and they'll take them and send them to you. You might be able to call them directly (425-255-0323) and ask them over the phone. Good luck!

Grave request at Santa Ana Cemetery
Hi Charlene: I have claimed your request at Santa Ana Cemetery. I visited the plot this morning and there are only 3 graves marked in it. They are Ernest, William and Mary. I have taken photos of the section and William and Ernest's graves. I will be working on those photos later tonight or tomorrow and will post them very soon. I was the one that took Mary's grave earlier this year. Sometimes I stroll through this very old cemetery snapping photos of some of the older graves. Chris

You're welcome. I am not related to Wm. Clark. I took the photo on a request. :)
