I am from the Winston-Salem/Pfafftown area. I'm currently living near the Davidson County line. I have a lot of the history on the Longs/Doubs/Crafts I'm trying to upload pictures found in my great aunt Katherine's home when she passed. My aunt June scanned the photos. I also would LOVE any information on any of the Hemric's including photos if possible! I have 2 small children, so I don't get out and take photos as much as I would like. This website helped me to find a "missing link," in my family. I would love to return the favor to others. |
Taking a break from doing this because it is hard to find the time with my children's activities.

I did not add #14630816 Rebecca Morefield as her mother. I wonder if this memorial number may be wrong since from Mary's death certificate, it says her mother was Rachel Netherly Harris and this Rebecca would have been 63 when Mary was born.

I don't live in the area anymore, but a Google search gives me this:
Mt Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1484 Elora Rd, Huntland, TN. Tel: 931-469-7394
Hope that helps.

The information shown on Stephen "Bart" Hemric's memorial is taken from his death certificate. I did not put his mother's last name (Maiden) as it is not clear to me what it says. It appears to say "Alnie", but that's not a name I've encountered before in Wilkes County that I can remember. Of course, Pattie could be a nickname for Patricia or other names. If this is in your family, I would be happy to transfer him to you, along with his wife, as I am not related, but only doing some cemetery research in Wilkes Co. and came across his death certificate. Let me know.

Your photo would not download on Lillie Craft so I put it in her husbands. You had too many photos in Lilies, you can only have three photos for each person. Then you have to pay find a grave to add more than three photos per person. Lillie and her husband grave stone is together. I have more Craft photos from Lewisville Methodist. Lewisville Methodist is the church I grew up in and still attend. If you need any more pictures Will be more than happy to help you out. Crystal Esch
