John Zabloudil
John Zabloudil, his first wife Frantiska, her father John Vales & children: Emma Rudolph & Edward are all buried in a family plot in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery. John Vales, John & Frantiska & Rudolph were likely moved from its original location to the current cemetery in 1915/1916.

Drucila Lewis - Mem. # 137553294
Michael I have just added to her memorial (temporarily) an image of the page in the Water St. Cemetery transcript where she is listed. I am pretty certain this info was taken from a headstone so it did at that time (1970s) exist. Hope that helps! Jim

Michael, the entry came from a town cemetery transcript for all individuals known to be buried in the cemetery. Not all however have headstones. I have the pages I will look for her entry late this evening when I am home. It will list whether the individual's headstone is known to exist or in the past existed. I'll get back to you. Jim

RE: Mary Spevacek and Albert Balaun
Hi Mike, I would be happy to exchange information and what stories I can with you about my Great-Uncle Albert and Mary Spevacek Balaun. I have a photocopy of the Atwood KS newspaper interview which I will find, scan and send to you when I have time. Published shortly before Mary's death in early 1960's, the photocopy, was given to my Mother by Anna (Balaun) Samson #41186760, who lived in Atwood and was well-acquainted with Ruth Hayden, the Kansas historian who wrote the article. (Please be aware however that there is some misinformation in the interview.) Have you seen the image of the headline and photo from the newspaper I posted at Mary's Find A Grave Memorial? #71585691. I've also posted some Balaun family details you may be interested in at my Grampa Pete's Memorial #39323009. I was excited to notice your photo of Albert. Since my childhood, Albert has been shrouded in mystery and adventure; I've never seen a real life photo before. Go to his first wife Annie's Memorial #85221472 Annie and Albert had a son and a daughter, after which she left Albert in Oklahoma and went to Oregon with Mary Spevacek's first husband and started a new family. If you can, please help me fill in the blanks in this intriguing family history. Did you have ancestral relatives in Nebraska when Mary's family and/or she and her young first husband, Alois R Bouda, lived there?
