I have been researching my family tree for more than 20 years now. 15 of those years we lived in Europe and I was able to find piece of the family tree none of us have ever had access to in the past. |
I am mainly searching for Zieg's, Loreman's, Grosshans, Roberts, Fuller's, Helton, Leach, and many more.
I reside in Northern Virginia, which makes me uniquely positioned to take photos of headstones in Arlington National Cemetery (12 miles from my house) and Quantico National Cemetery (5 miles from my house). I work at the Pentagon, and it has been very helpful in searching military documents for my family members. With the convenient location of the National Archives in Washington DC, out family tree has grown to more than 22,000 people.
Using Find a Grave has also been instrumental in documenting our tree.
The memorial's I manage are basically my own family members. I don't normally transfer them, but I am willing to update them or link them if you have any information. I hope others will do the same for me! and if you have a compelling reason for a transfer of one of my family members, please contact me so we can work something out!!
I would love to assist anyone that needs help. I have a very busy life with 5 children and 3 grandchildren, but when I can squeeze it in, I will assist those who ask for help in any way I can!

Surprise Surprise...Florence is Buried in Oak Knoll. now you just need to find Mammie.. I havent found the photo for Florence and Verle yet but have about 2700 more photos to go through. Im guessing Mammie will be there to. it didnt take long to find Florence ...just did a SSDI check and an Obit popped up for her, didnt say much just that she was buried in Oak Knoll.

Thelma is in there now. Memorial #110789463. I originally put the memorials in from a walk done in the 1980s. I can only assume that Thelma did not have a marker at that time or she was overlooked. There is one for her now. I have been trying to photograph this huge cemetery in chunks, but it is a long process.

I've made the updates. Please check to ensure I got everything right.
If you have any more information, I'll be glad to make updates.
Since it's your family, just let me know if you want me to transfer management to you.

|Mhovar||Acacia Park Cemetery Photo Request|
Hello - I work near the Acacia Park Cemetery, where you have a photo request, and I can easily stop by anytime. However the cemetery office has a policy to only allow me two location lookups per visit, so with over 100 requests, I am making graves with plot information my priority. If you would like me to add a photo, I would ask that you call the office (773-625-7800) for a location and add it to the listing. Thanks!

|Gary Roberts||RE: John Hartman|
I have about 100 more photo's to add. I will be working on them the next few days.

I thank you so much for the transfer - love your ID photo. First saw a weeping angel photo when the Louisiana students left and gave a signed thank you poster for our school housing them for classes during the hurricane recovery. They did it in a beautiful matte blue and is so impressive.
