I enjoy finding, adding, linking family memorials. If I see your contribution should be linked to someone, I'll let you know. I believe loved ones should be linked, as it makes it easier for future researchers. Although I enjoy genealogy, I am not actively in the "field" photographing grave sites, but I absolutely volunteer to search/photograph any request in my area. If you see I've made any errors or you have additional information for anything I've added, please let me know.JUST A NOTE: Raleigh Memorial Park (Raleigh, NC) requires written permission from a close relative in their files associated with the ownership of the gravesite in order to take pictures (identity theft isssue). Please contect Robert.email@example.com OR call 919-787-2766, with that said I have NOT been able to make contact with the owner/caretaker...no answer on phone nor email reply.|

Hello from Pittsburgh! My husband's great-grandmother was Alice May Shurtz, daughter of Samuel E. Shurtz who was the brother of Mary E. Shurtz who was the wife of Jonathan Clouser. I stumbled onto your wonderfully rich memorials for the Clouser family and am in genealogy heaven:-) I imagine you must be connected to this family as well with the your depth of knowledge - yea for Findagrave!!
Would you mind if I copied the pictures you've attached to their memorials for our family tree?
Looking forward to hearing from you and connecting another branch!
Thanks for the transfer of James and Mary Ann

Looks like William Taylor Dunn was my great uncle.
You have on his memorial that he was a Corp.Co.A 16th PA Cav. I cannot find any reference to him being in the military from PA. Please tell me where you found your info...

I had a teacher named Nearhoof when I was in the second grade in Bellwood in the 1950's. Related?

|Clancy Hassler||RE: Nearhoof/Cross Roads Cemetery|
I received an e-mail from Ralph Nearhoof. He has all names for the Cross Road (Nearhoof) and Bald Eagle Cemeteries. He asked me to get in touch with you and give you his e-mail address as he might be able to help you in your search. E-mail address: email@example.com
He also has written a book on the Nearhoof family.
If you would like for me to transfer any of the Nearhoof memorials under my control, let me know and I will be happy to do it.
Also, if you have no objection, would you give me your e-mail address as sometimes I like to pass on information without the world knowing about it. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org
|Clancy Hassler||RE: Cross Roads Cemetery|
Yes, the Cross Roads Cemetery in Huntingdon County, Spring Mount, Warriors Mark Townwhip is the Nearhoof Cemetery. I have taken many tombstones there, however many are unreadable. I plan to go back and make sure I have all that are readable in the near future.

I have added the links and also transferred this memorial to you, my family ties in through his wife Elmira Woomer.
