What a wonderful life I've led thus far! I was born in Chicago, but because my father was an Air Force officer, we moved around a lot, including tours in Japan and Italy. I attended college at the U of MD in Munich, Germany, for 2 years and then graduated at the U of MD in the states in 1965. Shortly after that, I married an Army officer and was on the move again. I loved every minute of it and feel very lucky. Germany was a wonderful place to live for 6 years. My interests center around our 3 children and 7 grandchildren ... with lots of Bridge playing in the mix. And now I'm fixated on Genealogy.|
Am interested in: Whipple, Mathewson, Millard, Angell, Barnes, Buck, Ballou, and Mosher on my mother's paternal side. On my mother's maternal side: Phelps, Billig, Clendening (sp) so far.
My father's Swedish heritage is going to be harder to pin down/research. His mother's maiden name was Johnson. :-}

Thank you so much for sponsoring the grave sites of my 4th great grandparents, and that of their daughter, Orpha and her husband, Charles.
Are you a descendant of theirs through Orpha?
I have been in touch with Ralph Barnes Davidson. He has been a wonderful contact.

You're very welcome for the photos. I actually just found the other of Janet's stone that I was missing when I posted them, so I'll post that one now.
Thank you for your very nice and thoughtful message!

I'm about to post the photos for you of the stone for Janet Rasmessen. I've also posted photos on the page for Edward Rasmessen. In doing that, the photo of him was displaced from the first position -- you probably want to delete and readd it and label it as a "person" photo -- that way, it should maintain its first position as others are added.

Sorry Kaye! I made the additions to his bio while I was traveling last week. I was in a bit of a hurry and was not as careful as I should have been.
Thanks so much for sponsoring my 10th great grandparents. That make us cousins.
|Jen Snoots||William Barnes...again!|
Just found your other email...nope, no relation to me. I just did that entire cemetery, and have come across some of the rest of the Barnes family in my trips around Rutland or my trips around the web site.

Thanks for the unexpected sponsorship!
