Tim thank you so much for your kind words. It was really nice to hear that a random photo means so much.

Hey Tim, We corresponded several years ago. My husband is from the Joseph Lessley/Leslie side of the family. I noticed you did not post photo of Susan...do you have photo of her? I have a photo that is supposed to be her...don't know where I got it..from a Lessley researcher. Is it alright if I post.....and if you don't like it, I will remove....Let me hear from you...Ilene Jeffers.

I haven't looked at the site in quite awhile, so sorry, I didn't see your message.
I haven't been able to find a connection with the Coosa Co. Carden's and my Carden's. There probably is one, but just haven't been able to find it!
My email address is, firstname.lastname@example.org right now.

You have added a picture of Velma Knox (#8322536). Are you related to her? Was she married to Milford Knox? Milford was the son of the brother of my husband's g-grandfather. Would love to know more about him if you could help.

I saw the memorial you have for Susan Wilson with the picture and was wondering if you have more information on her? My gg-grandmother was Josephine B. Wilson (1842-1889) #7094846. She married William Fletcher McLane. She was born in Rockford, Coosa County, and I'm wondering who her parents were. I was browsing the Coosa County memorials for Wilsons who were born in the time period that could be Josephine's parents when I came across your memorial for Susan. Did Susan have children?

Indeed, the pictures paint the true story of family history. Thanks for allowing me to use them. I've transferred the memorials to you. The Lessleys and Carmichaels are very well-known in this area. Every time I go to a cemetery at a Presbyterian church, there seems to be at least one member of one of the families.

I made the change to Mrs Carmichael's name. I have a family tree website that they are on. Do you mind if I upload the photos onto it that you have added to Daniel and Amanda's memorials? It's not a profitable website, simply a Tribalpages website where I keep my family tree info (While I am of no relation to the Carmichaels or Lessleys yet, they married into my wife's family). Also, I'd be more than happy to transfer ownership to you if you wish.
