|I enjoy gardening and I am a member of the Mt. Pleasant Iris and Daylily Society of East Texas.|
I love photography and use it for both fun and entertainment. Since digital cameras came into use I go crazy with an assortment of subjects. I take tons of photos of my flowers, but I also enjoy photographing birds, horses, almost any form of wildlife, people, but most of all Cemeteries and Tombstones.
I am an Amateur Genealogist with 30 some odd years of research behind me. I took a break of about 5 years and just recently started back up. When I started researching my family lines my mother would get so upset with me. I spent all my free time walking cemeteries, visiting dirty dingy courthouse basements, are just visiting people that I didn't even know to gather old family photos and oral information. Mom always told me I spent more time with dead relatives than I did the live ones.
The day I walked into moms house with not only her mother and father's original marriage license but her grandparents original marriage license is the day that she decided my family research was worth all the hard hours I had put into it. She never complained again and started sharing older stories and folklore with me.
I am a Caregiver by profession and own my own business, Compassion and Grace Services.
I am a Baptist by faith and proclaim Jesus Christ as my savior. He can be yours too!
Hopefully one day my son and daughter will carry on not only my genealogy research for others to enjoy, but my love for the Lord!
The following is a list of cemeteries that I have photographed entirely. The list is in the East Texas area.
Caney Cemetery, Hopkins County.
Hays Cemetery, Winnsboro,Wood County.

Thank you for letting me know!
I was wondering if there was any way of getting a better picture of the head stone and info on it for 74831503. It looks like there is 2 names on it and I don't show him getting married a second time. His first wife is buried with her second husband. Thanks

thanks for writing back.
Heliose must have been married to Donivan Ridgeway who was one of Aunt Ruby's two sons. Is it possible that I could contact her or any of her family that might be living for more information? I did not know Donivan well but did know his mother, Aunt Ruby and her other son, Cletus Pruitt. I cannot figure out why Heloise would not have listed my great-grandmother with the other Thompson children. Myrtle Barnes had a very large family and many of them are trying to make sense of our geneaology. susan
I want to thank you for the transfers of Tom & Alpha. I appreciate it very much.
|Carolyn Womack||RE: Petty|
I am researching her to find her parents for linking. She was born in North Carolina. You can say that she taught piano lessons for many years, at her home in Winnsboro. Mom started lessons in 1930, with her, and she was still teaching in the 1970s. I'm looking for her obituary in my filing cabinets, too. I will keep you posted.

Thank you very much. You also have a great new year.

I'm using Ancestry.com and Family Tree Maker to work on my genealogy and would like your permission to use the photos found on findagrave.com:
At this time, these are the memorials I'd like to use - I expect there will be more coming later:
