Smiths in Henderson Cemetery
I'm trying to find some loose ends on my Browns. Is Thomas Newton Smith a son of Gordon Columbus Smith and Martha Jane Brown? We have a Brown Family Reunion and I do a short write-up for our reunion newsletter. I'm also trying to find photos of the Smiths that married into my Browns.

Thank You!! I can't express how helpful this is to me. You may have put me on track to finding my Great Grandfather.
Thanks Again,

Melissa Jane Hoover Smith
Hi Larry: Do you have any info on Melissa's father, and my G-Grandfather, Henry Hoover? Her mother was Nancy Jane Ault Hoover, and she is buried in Christiansburg Cem in Brown County, but no Henry.

I have been searching after Henry for years, so any help or photos or even a middle name would help. Thanks,

RE: transfer
The Smith transfers are complete. Are there any others @ Henderson that you want? I am not related to anyone in Brown Co., we just love to visit there; we go several times a year.

RE: Edit Memorials
How about I transfer your great grandparents to your care! Would you also want Shadrack(love that name) & Margaret?
We really enjoyed Henderson Cemetery, but you need a truck to get to it; lots of ruts!

RE: Hensley Cemetery
Hi Larry,
I haven't been to the cemetery or looked for it. The description from the 1975 Cemetery book says: Smith Lane (area 1 mile north of Hwy US 42 on Smith Lane). Apparently the group that looked up the cemeteries more recently didn't locate it. If you go to the area & talk to people, you could probably locate it. Hopefully it hasn't been destroyed. It may just be overgrown.

If you want to manage any of the memorials, let me know & I'll be glad to transfer them to you.
