Bio Photo I live in Onslow County North Carolina and would be happy to find a grave for you. The communities in Onslow County are Richlands, Swansboro, Maysville, Belgrade, Piney Green, Hubert. Other zip codes in the area I would be willing to photograph 28540, 28541, 28460. I am also willing to go anywhere in eastern North Carolina coastal towns/cities. Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle to name a few. Some of the cemetaries are in very rural areas and may take a little longer to locate. But, I would still try. I am an avid amateur genealogist. I started because I was interested in learning about my families. Because as a military dependent, we did not have family close by therefore, I wanted to know where I came from. So, forty years later I'm still finding out new things. If I can be of assistance to anyone in my area please do not hestitate to contact me.If I am not related to anyone I have provided a photo for I will be happy to transfer management to you.

Clara Bryan
Kathy, after I sent my photo request and after more research I found out that Clara Bryan is not buried in Willie Thomas Jarman Cemetery. Find-A-Grave is incorrect on that score. However, I found out that she is buried at the Rhodes Cemetery near Richlands. She is in Find A Grave under memorial id 5611164. I apologize for the wild goose chase, but I do appreciate your effort. I have myself gone looking for a grave and found out that it is not there or is not where it is supposed to be.

You can close this request for a photo and I do thank you again. I have sent an edit to the initiator of the memorial to delete the incorrect one from Find A Grave, which has not been done yet.

My mother would like to thank you for the flowers that you left at my Grandma's grave. That was very sweet. She is deeply touched.

RE: WOHS
That name sounds a little familiar but I don't really remember. That feels like a long time ago. :)

I graduated from WOHS in 2003 and my brother and sister in law graduated in 1998.

Such a small world. :)

I guess I missed the question about what part I lived in. We lived in TT2, Northwoods area and Pumpkin Center area.

RE: Velma
I did notice that I had typed the DOB wrong (I knew the right date but my fingers must not have) but I had the 1998 write. The first time I put it in I accidentally typed 1988, but I fixed that pretty quickly. Sometimes I think I type too fast for my own good.

My dad is a retired Marine and he was stationed at Camp Lejeune & Camp Johnson. I lived in Jacksonville from 1985-1988 and 1992-2005. We moved to Iowa when he retired. This is where all of our family lived.

I want to thank you again for taking these pictures for me! I didn't expect a response so quickly.

RE: Velma Ester Jandro
Thank you for taking the picture for me. On her birth certificate her middle name is spelled Esther, but she went my her middle name for a good portion of her life and I am told that she spelled it Ester. Who knows why?

You'd think that after visiting that grave so many times when I lived in Jacksonville, I would have noticed the difference in spelling.

Thank you again for your work!

RE: Heckathorn Cemetery
Hi Kathy,
I took photos of Irene and Henry Knight and some others that might be related. I made memorials for them since there were not any there.

Thanks so much for your help. I try not to go out in this heat. I'm waiting on cooler weather before I go visiting the cemeteries again so I really appreciate your kindness. It's people like you that make this a great website!
