RE: Minnie & Joseph Hall
I am guessing your Thompson's may run into my husband's Thompson's because he great grand-parents are buried in Goshen Cemetery, Little Walker Creek area and great-great grandfather is buried in Giles County, Henry Jackson Thompson.

I'll have to to see where it goes.

Have a good day,
Connie

RE: Minnie & Joseph Hall
I'm still working on the Thompson side for my husband. His great grandmother was a Thompson, Anna Thompson married to John Cambell Roope, her parents were Henry Jackson Thompson and Mary Copen.

Thanks,
Connie

WD Raynor and Susan Caroline Thornton in Jackson Family Cemetery Sampson County
Thank you for the pictures of the Jackson Family Cemetery, Newton Grove, Sampson County, North Carolina. I was delighted to see the photo of WD Raynor's grave marker. He is my third Great Grand Father and served in the Civil War. It was sad to see the picture of the overgrown cemetery. I would like to visit the cemetery this fall. Did you have to get permission to enter the farm land? Also, his wife was Susan Caroline Thornton. Were you able to find that grave and photograph? Thank you again for trekking out in the eastern NC summer heat to get the photos. Hopefully the bugs and briars did not attack you. Sincerely, Sonja Albury Eagles

Thanks Katie. There are so many family cemeteries on farms for Sampson County where Westbrook's are buried. I can't wait to see which Westbrook's you found at the small cemetery down the road from the Benton-Ingram Cemetery.

I found a website which lists cemeteries for Sampson County and found many Westrook's listed, but there are many more Westbrook's who are not on the list that are buried in Sampson County. The following is the url:
