I'm The Old Chief. That's because I'm relatively old and am a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. I got into working with FindAGrave to enhance my work on our family tree through Ancestry.com and as a way to get out of the house and get some exercise. Although my residence is in central Oklahoma I travel throughout this great country in my RV so you may see memorial and photo entries from various states.
I'm specifically interested in the names Stone, Weed, Davis, Jones, Berry as it pertains to our family in Oklahoma.
Also on my late wife's (FAG #80522305) family in Minnesota: Priolo, Peterson, Anderson, Blotti. The Priolo's and Blotti's came from Italy and the Peterson's and Anderson's came from Norway. All these families only go back a couple of generations in this country.
TRANSFER REQUEST: If you see someone that is a member of your family and want that memorial changed to your account just ask. If I am not also related I will consider your request.
When requesting a transfer please give your FAG contributor number AND how are you related to the individual. Please use the EDIT tab on the individual memorial page to request transfers. Also, permission is hereby granted to copy and reuse pictures of any grave marker that I have taken and posted on this site as long as they ARE NOT posted to a for profit site such as Ancestry.com.

I apologize. I understood your profile to say that you would transfer memorials to other families as long as you weren't related. Mary is my blood relative, albeit not my parents, but I manage the other Helms in her/my family and wanted to maintain continuity.

I found your memorial for Nell Sims (#82451532), who is buried in Chpel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, and am trying to determine if this is the Nell Sims who is distantly related to a person I am assisting in researching her family. Do you have any further information about Nell Sims? Was she married and, if so, do you know her husband's name? Names of parents? I replied to your message but it got held up in a filter. I just wanted to say thank you for your help. I did as you said ( edit tab) I hope it went through alright. I have been in contact with another person about my family memorials that she established. I have been trying since Sept. for her to do the transfer but she was disregarded my requests. So thank you for being so prompt.
