Deford Cemetery Hi. I see that you've been to this cemetery before. I've driven past it many times, but I'm not able to find a visible entrance from the road. I was hoping you could share some light on where to park and where the actual walk-in entrance is.
I actually drove into what seemed to be the entrance today, but there were several 'Private Drive' and 'No Trespassing' signs. I must be overlooking something obvious :) !
Milford and Ruth Vert's daugher. Hi again Jeff I went to the cemetary website and looked up all the Verts that were there. They are all ancestors. There was a daughter that passed away young. The Milford H. Vert is Milford Henry Vert. Very common in our background was Milford, Henry and of course William. With all of the Milfords, some went by their middle names. If there is a headstone for the daughter, I would appreciate a photo. There is also a Lulie May that I can't read very well but looked like she was young. Couldn't tell who she was the daughter of. If you see that one, it looks like a very odd headstone. Thanks again Jeff.
RE: Recent Vert Photos Hi Jeff We have three Milfords in our background and one of them was married several times. I haven't got as far as children on some of the ancestors but any Verts in that particular cemetary are going to be relatives. The only wife I know of for sure is Milford and Rebecca. I did see the other headstones and I appreciate them also. The photos I had were not that great, Yours are terrific. You are going above and beyond and you have my heartfelt appreciation. Thank you so much Shiela
Jacob and Sally Vert Jeff, I really appreciate you taking pictures of Jacob and Sally Vert's headstones. I had requested a long time ago but was turned down because they had already been taken. You obviously went out of your way to get better photos and I thank you so much. So will the rest of the family. Jacob and Sally are my 4 times great grandparents. I just started tracing my family this last year and it is really exciting and it is great there are people like you who go out of their way for complete strangers. Thank you again.
