Bio and Links
Bio Photo Greetings, and thanks for visiting my profile page.

This website has been incredibly helpful in my genealogical research for double-checking dates, locations, and family relationships. Not only that, seeing photos of my ancestors' burial sites makes them more real to me instead of them being just names in black and white on a family tree. Many thanks to the volunteers who have made all this possible. Also, thanks to those many kind people -- you know who you are! -- who go above and beyond to help others in their research.

I am not a fan of the strict four-generation, direct-ancestor transfer rule. If I am managing memorials for people who are significantly more closely related to you and your family than they are to me and my family, feel free to use the edit button to explain your relationship, and I will generally be happy to pass their memorials on to you.

Good luck in your research, and don't be a stranger!

RE: FTDNA
I haven't a clue as to who you are, since your name does not appear anywhere. However, if you wish to contact me, I will be happy to try to find common ancestors.

RE: Colin Chandler
Do you have a plot number or anything I could go by. At this cemetery, there are many unmarked graves with a fieldstone. You can't read the writing on any of these fieldstone's. They are just jabbed into the ground. There is about 40 of these type of stones, and it could be that he is in there with those. I just don't have anything to reference it too.

If you will look at

cemeterycensus.com for Person County North Carolina under the Surl Primitive Baptist Church, you will see his name listed on their records as:

Chandler, Colin Cline (b. 4 May 1951 - d. 25 Jun 1951)
Infant son

I hope this helps. If you find the plot number, I will be happy to go back and take a picture of the fieldstone.

RE: Marshal[l] Sherrodd
Hi there! We'll check our pictures to see if we have one that confirms his name, plus have some records from this area at the WRVHS, so will see if we can come up with anything. We're also going to be going back out to the cemetery with some family from there once it ever warms up.

Coast,

http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/8345089/family

I found one tree almost entirely but the rest have been more difficult to uncover so I've kind of put it on hold for awhile.
