photos that I post are out of my family photo album, collected & saved by someone in my family, I will not repost someone else's photo without crediting them (including off of other websites). I don't mind if you use them for personal use, but if you are posting them online please give credit. a lot of times it really helps to know exactly where a photo originated from. I've been told I was wrong about details of my own family because someone got information from a "seasoned" genealogist or internet "knowledge" instead of from the source.

I have been a hobby genealogist since I was a teen. I also began researching my husbands family. My Grandfather encouraged this by sharing family stories and pictures, as well as sharing his findings and memories of travels to family home sites, grave sites, and researching family history and documents. I was further intrigued by my great grandmother whose life spanned over a century. Perhaps my greatest reason for trying to find my family story is that my Dad's family has lost too many too soon and their stories have ended without generations to carry on their name. But I am here and I will tell their stories to my children as well as expose them to their family roots. The ancestors who I feel the deepest connection to are spread out and difficult to find documentation on, and they are often accompanied by erroneous information or "brick walls" on the internet. I like to find out more about them, find their true story, and bring them together on sites like this one.

You are welcome. I noticed a name spelling difference on the marker but thought it was the same one.
