I specialize in the family history of 1717 Germanna Colonist Nicholas Yager, born 1678 in Germany, and his descendants. I am the compiler and author of "Following John: Documenting the Identity and Path of John Yager, born 25 Nov 1750, in Culpeper County, Virginia," pub. 2004, and "The Family of Daniel Wayne Yeager, 1835-1910," (son of Lewis) pub. 1994. I also wrote the Introduction to the official Germanna Record No. 19: "The Yager Family, the First Five Generations," compiled by Cathi Clore Frost, pub. 2010. My research on this family was first publicly published in John Blankenbaker's respected journal, "Beyond Germanna," in 2002. In 2003 I made a presentation on this Yager family in a seminar at the Germanna Memorial Foundation's annual reunion.
Most recently the online "Germanna Research Group Journal" has published my Yager research in a 2-part article in the November 2011 and April 2012 issues ("Follow the Money," Parts 1 & 2) which can be found at:
www.germannacolonies.org/GRGJournal
Click on the November 2011 and/or April 2012 issues. Part 1 demonstrates a methodology for identifying same-named people who lived in the same place at the same time, using as an example six Yagers named John whose lives in Culpeper-Madison Counties, Virginia, overlapped between 1732 and 1850. Part 2 identifies the children of John Yager, 1750-1816, son of Michael Yager, 1728-1794, including my gg-gf Lewis Yager, #98346838.

 | Yeagers in Bethel Cemetery Hi, Betty, I am happy to make the transfers to you. I am so distantly related that I have very little information on them and would much rather someone manage the memorials that can care for them properly. Let me know of others you have interest in. Thank you for your work.Added by AJ on Sep 25, 2012 3:59 PM | | | Mandy G.

 | RE: Yeager transfer No I didn't, my mom knew them, she gave me the names. But I know that was why Fletcher and Ettie moved, was to be near the girls.

 | Yeager transfer I transferred Fletcher to you as you asked. Fletcher married my cousin Ettie Goff. I just can remember them, they lived most of the time in New Orleans then came back to Vancleave after he retired. Linda | | | Patricia Thrasher Waller
