| Bio and Links | I am a retired educator. I have been doing family research for a number of years. I am willing to take photographs and search for graves at cemeteries within a reasonable distance of my home. My photographs have copyrights and are for use on Find A Grave. I am currently reseaching the following families: Brown (what appears to be different lines on both sides of my family), Thacker, Garrison, Hornbuckle, Turley, Davison.

Hello Virginia, Thanks for your response. We plan on working on some of the graves this week to get them ready for Sunday. George Morris was my grandmother's brother. My grandmother and grandfather was Frank & Lou Etta Morris Bowman. My gr grandparents were Moses & Harriett Morris. I would love to come and visit Sunday but I play the piano for a church in Cedartown and also my gr nephew is having a birthday party that day and I was suppose to help with that. If I get away from my church in time...I may try and drop by then. So sorry for all the confusion about Polk and Bartow County...but I'll work on this problem this week. About the Morrises...in what way are you related to the Morrises. Granny Bowman's sister Aunt Jane Morris married Bufford Waits. Papa Bowman's sister Nancy Bowman married a Cochran so you see the cemetery is full of my kinfolks. Hope to see you Sunday but if not...let's keep in touch..

The listing Floyd Cemetery, on Bartow Gen. site is at the bottom of Allatoona Lake. It's under water. So is most of the town. | | | Spirit Wanderer

I don't have any other listings in Floyd Creek, Bartow Co. I didn't set that cemetery up so I guess the best thing would be is to notify Find A Grave and tell them the cemetery is an incorrect listing. | | | Spirit Wanderer
