My maternal family includes the Knight and Vaughn families of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and the Blewster family of Fort Valley, Georgia.|
My paternal family includes the Thomas family from Atlanta and Cobb County. The Gonnellas from Atlanta are my cousins. The Moss and Floyd families from Cobb County, Georgia are my ancestors, as well as the Lee and Coleman families of Chambers County, Alabama.
I created a Facebook page for the descendants of Alfred Young Moss. I also created a Facebook page for Kinchen Henry Thomas. Please visit these pages, "like" and share them.

I'm related to Ben through his mother who was Violet Della Whitton Thomas, through her mother who was Sarah Jane Stanford Whitton, daughter of Edward & Katie (Reid) Stanford.
Don't know if this will help you connect the Thomas family but my information shows that Ben is the oldest child of James Riley Thomas Jr, b. Mar 1870 who appears on the 1900 Haralson Co GA census. I got the "Jr" from page 5 of Brotherhood of Man which mentions him as Riley Thomas Jr.

Thank you so much for the information. I've added it to a note on William Ira's info and adjusted the death date.
|Kay Leach||RE: Gladys Thomas Gonnella|
Thanks, I will do that.
Hope all is well with you.

I posted some photos to their memorial pages. The sun got down on me by the time I got to them so some of the pics could of been better at an earlier time of day. If you'd like a better one I'll be glad to try again another day when I visit the cemetary and swap it out? I also posted their plot location information on the caption of one of the photos if you'd like to add it to their memorial pages info. Hope this helps, Brad

Thanks for the transfers, Chuck. Since you have done such an outstanding job, I didn't feel rushed to ask for the transfers. Take care, and keep in touch. David.

Unfortunately, I have never been able to locate his grave. I have been out to Crawford County two different times to try and find it. At the time of his death his lived in Peach County, but the family had previously lived in Crawford and other family members were buried there. I would really love to find it.
