"HOLDEMAN DESCENDANTS", VOL I & 2 are available [FREE] on line at: www.ARCHIVE.org

I am a direct descendant of John & Elizabeth [Barrick] Holdeman / Haldiman / Holderman >> Christian Holdeman [Holderman] & Christiana [Buzzard] Holdeman >> Samuel Holdeman & Sarah [Boyer]Holdeman>> William B Holdeman & Mary Elizabeth [Grove] Holdeman >>>>

I am terminally ill so if you want management of a memorial I have, please let me know. I inherited a large number of Holdeman photos, obituaries, etc & my goal is to post as much of it as possible to memorials, Ancestry.com & MyHeritage.com so it will be available to interested parties. If you have a question about a Holdeman, ask. I might be able to help or provide info that may help you with your research.

Everything I post may be freely copied, distributed or used WITHOUT my permission.

FYI, "HOLDEMAN DSCENDANTS (the descendants of Christian Holdeman 1788-1846)", VOL I & II were privately printed & distributed. They are public domain, not copy protected, not registered with the Library of Congress & do not have an ISBN #.

A new, print on demand copy of Vol I may be purchased from: AbeBooks.com for $39.95; Inventory # ABE-417711850. "HOLDEMAN DESCENDANTS: A COMPILATION OF GENEALOGICAL AND BIOGRAPHICAL RECORDS OF THE DESCENDANTS OF CHRISTIAN HOLDEMAN, 1788-1846" by Edwin L Weaver, 2nd printing 1937.

Walter Holdeman
Did you know Walter? Walter was my Dad's chemistry teacher at Jackson High. After my Grandpa Andrews died, Walter married my Grandmother Inez. Walter was a brilliant man....

Dixie Lee Culp Tucker
Dixie and I were best friends until she moved to Az.
I visited her when she was living in Ft Worth. around 1985. Dixie would call sporadically and we would talk for hours. BUT, she was NOT a letter-writer. She moved often And I would have to wait for her to contact me with a new address.
For many years I have tried to find her. I am saddened to find her here.
Can you tell me anything about her/Kimberly/ Rhonda ? From her tombstone i assume she was a Grandma ?

Hi Kkristione,

I've added all the info you suggested except for a links to her grandparents. I know that's possible, I just have no clue how to do it. If you can give me instructions, I'll gladly add that, too.

Laura

Emma B. Brooke Shafer Vergin
I have linked Emma to her biological parents per your request and added biographical info you helped me provide. The records do suggest that the Shafer surname was that of her adopted parents and not a spouse as there is a marriage record for her to Carl Vergin. Take a look at the bio and see if there's anything else you would like to add.

Emma Vergin
Hi. I found Shafer as Emma's maiden name. It appears on her wedding license to Carl Vergin, and her parents David and Lydia Shafer were living with Emma and Carl on the 1930 Census, designated at the father and mother-in-law to head of household Carl Vergin. Could yours be a different Emma perhaps?

Watts Rollins
I'm sorry for the two blank comments. I'm using my iPhone to respond and keep hitting the wrong button.

I just wanted to confirm the changes you wanted me to make here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=85560358

His full name should be Dalton Watts Ware Rollins? The grave stone itself said "Dr. Watts Rollins" and so I wanted to make sure because what you are giving me is so different.

Thanks and sorry again for the blank comments.

RE: David Murphy
You're quite welcome. Happy to have been able to locate their tombstones for you. They are buried in the same section (Old), but separated by a few rows.
